Story Walk II

We love being outdoors, and we love stories too. This is a relatively easy walk from Uetliberg, south along the Albis Wanderweg, with an emphasis on stories and connection.

On our journey, we’ll tell a story. It can be real or made-up, yours or borrowed. It's not a competition, so don't worry if you're not a great raconteur or you don't have a jaw-dropping story to tell - it's just about sharing something. Think the Canterbury Tales, but with a Swiss twist.

We'll meet under the Blue Angel at Zürich HB at 10am, and then get the train to Uetliberg. I'd expect us to be back in Zürich around 3pm, depending on how fast we go and how often we stop.

Here’s how it works:

• Feeling a bit awkward or shy about meeting strangers? Don't worry, we have all felt this at some point. Our events are known for being friendly and welcoming of newcomers. And besides, having a structured activity like storytelling helps to break the ice.
• The walk is mostly on yellow-signposted Wanderweg.
• Don’t forget a snack to eat - and ideally, share.
• Finally, all the usual caveats apply: you’re responsible for being properly dressed and equipped (hiking boots, layers, waterproofs, water etc), and need to be aware that this isn’t a guided tour, and we’re not qualified mountain guides.
