OC Singles who Mingle 45+
Hey Hey!! Welcome to OC Singles who Mingle 45+!! Thank you for checking us out! Please note that this is a private and exclusive social group for meeting people and new friends in-person and face to face and NOT a Dating Site. Being single doesn't mean you have to be alone, nor looking for a romantic partner.
We are a group of like-minded individuals who want to get out and do stuff with others who may have the same interests or learn new ones. Let's meet and hang out with other fun peeps.
But please, NO CREEPY vibes, Stalking or hook-ups. Also, please keep any drama and gossip OUTSIDE of this group.
Because we are a private and exclusive group, we are selective with which "Requests to Join" are accepted and will remove those members who we later decide are not a good fit for various reasons and also those who are not actively attending events. Unlike some groups who only care about the size of the group, we care about quality over quantity.
We are a Brand New Group of fun adults, on average in their mid 40s thru 60s, who enjoy mingling together while making new quality friendships and enjoying social activities and events like:
Bike Riding, Tactical Training, Hiking, Walking, Axe Throwing, Karaoke, Dining Out, Happy Hour, Comedy Clubs, Road Trips, Int'l & Domestic Travel, Potlucks, House Parties, Get Togethers and anything else that looks like fun. It’s limitless. We don't just "say"... we "do". If you’re interested in hosting an event, let me know! Yay!!
Our goal is to create and build a solid group of hopefully close friends, like a second family maybe, that you look forward to seeing again and again at the next event. We want you to feel like this group is your home and that you are welcomed and fit right in.
We want you smiling, laughing and having a great time and a great experience at whatever event of ours that you choose to attend! You'll notice that we not only have a LOT of events per week, but various kinds because we happen to LOVE variety! Please feel free to give me suggestions and let's see what we can come up with. Hey, this is the second half of our lives - let's enjoy it, together! Life is short!
We care about honest, respectful, loyal, trustworthy quality people. We want to create a safe space for everyone, especially for those who desire it. If there is ever an issue, please private message me.

A few housekeeping items:
*All members must have a clear, CURRENT and recognizable picture (i.e. no pics from your younger years in high school/college, memes, cartoons, pets, kids, landscapes etc. You know who you are) so that we can identify you at events. Those without one are subject to removal from the group.
*Strict Zero Tolerance Policy: We ask that you actively and enthusiastically participate in our events, especially with the time, efforts and occasionally additional monies that it takes for us to put an event together. We ask that you respect all organizers, hosts, and attendees. This includes honoring your RSVPs and letting us know if you can’t make it as soon as you are aware. Those who have 3+ "no show" or frequently RSVP and then cancel will be subject to removal.
*Active Member Requirement: You must ATTEND a minimum of one (1) event per quarter. RSVPing for an event (incl. those in the far future) and then not attending does NOT count as being an active member. You must have attended a min. of 1 event with the current quarter. Frequent cancellations and No-Shows are subject to removal from the group.
*We ask that you do not contact (private message) members you haven’t met in real life. Exceptions include inquiring about group events with the prospective hosts and organizers.
*Keep in mind that this is NOT a dating group, altho it may happen if you meet and there is a mutual connection. If things work out, great!! But if it doesn't, please keep any drama outside.

50 Girls Over 50 in So Orange County, CA-Membership Full
Lake Forest, CA
Looking to make some real friends, and not just acquaintances made thru existing large groups? Are you retired, an empty nester, newly divorced, new to this area, just transferred to CA, or someone just looking for new friends to do fun stuff with…….then this is your 50+ girls group to join. We’re looking for “no drama” girls that are interested in having lots of fun, while making new friends. So bring your happy attitude and respect for others. Our group will be limited to just 50 (Covid-19 vaccinated) girls, so we can really make connections with all the members. Events and gatherings will mostly be held in southern Orange County locations (Laguna Hills, Irvine, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Dana Point, Tustin, Laguna Niguel and Hills, etc.). Events will include brunches, lunches, dinners, happy hour deals, gift exchanges, holiday parties, coffee/discussions, and current Orange County cultural events unless we find a worthy “road trip” out of our area. Please note: Our beginning events will be limited to “safer” outdoor and restaurant patio scenarios so everyone will be more comfortable attending. Because of our limited number, members will be requested to attend at least two events per quarter to maintain membership, so we can maximize participation at planned events. There will always be exceptions, but please do not join if you do not plan on attending our functions. Event cancellations should be made a minimum of 72 hours in advance if possible. Event organizers put lots of effort into planning their gatherings, and they deserve enough time to adjust their final attendance numbers and arrangements. Two no-shows to events without notice will result in being deleted from the group. To cover our national Meetup group charges, our yearly dues to start will be $5.00 per year, per member, payable via PayPal. This charge will be due annually by March 1st. Can’t wait to meet our new “Girls” and get the fun started!
So Many Women...So Little Time
Please click here for our mailing list! Glad you found us... Welcome to the So Many Women…So Little Time meetup group. Our group is alive and well and growing by leaps and bounds. We host online zoom events with members from all across the country and are now starting to host some live outdoor events as well, as long as they are safe. Time and space have taken on a whole new meaning. For all of you out of towners, don't worry. I never plan to leave zoom!
I have been so touched by the intimacy and connections that are being created day by through our group interactions. Lots of friendships have been made and yes, even some romance! I try to mix it up and keep it interesting for you all and I’m always open to new ideas and feedback. My commitment to every member is that there are no "outsiders" and all folks that identify as a woman loving women are welcome. I believe that the experience of inclusiveness is palpable in our group events whether live or on Zoom.
For FB users, please follow us (facebook.com/somanywomensolittletime/). If you would like to be part of our secret FB group, please friend request me at Jody Potiker and I will invite you. Once in, you can invite your friends directly from there too.
I would love it if you joined the smwslt mailing list. This separates out our special announcements from all the other meetup emails which can be overwhelming at times. I ask that you please set your notifications at minimum to receive organizer messages and new event announcements. This has to be done while actually on our group site. You can find the settings by clicking on your round profile photo on the top right corner and select email and notifications.
I am so looking forward to meeting you whether it be online or in person when that time comes.
Until then, Your organizer, Jody
20's-30's Co-Ed Social Club
This group is designed to bring together men and women, age 21-39, who want to partake in fun activities together. Our plan is to do all kinds of activities, ranging from hikes, movie nights, winery tours, and happy hours. Suggestions for events are also appreciated!

Viet Food Bunch & Beyond
Are you tired of making meaningless connections? Losing touch with old friends? Haven’t found a good way to make new ones? Who says adulting can’t be fun?
Come eat.drink.play with us!
Rinse and repeat.
Don’t let the group name fool you. We welcome all types of people, except the ones who are creepy, disrespectful…you get the drift.
When was the last time you connected with someone? And no, your last Facebook friend request doesn’t count. Like REALLY connected with someone.
Whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong local, new to MeetUp or not, we want to bring together an eclectic mix of people from all walks of life in a social atmosphere that's friendly, relaxing, and safe.
EAT. Here’s some food for thought. How do you make your food taste better without adding any ingredients? Eat in the company of others.
DRINK. Let's toast to food, fun, and friendships!
PLAY. We live in one of the most desirable destinations in the world. Let’s explore this urban playground we call home and perhaps even venture off the beaten path.
Life is meant to be lived, so what better way to do it than amongst good company as we share cultural and culinary tastes together by land, sea, car, camper, bike, and plane! Did we miss anything? Maybe segway or electric scooter?
Transparency is important to us, so let’s be frank for a minute. We are not interested in collecting membership dues or hitting membership quotas. Save that for your day job.
Instead, let’s take a break from corporate America or wherever you hail from when you come out to meet us. Let’s collect memories and hit the trails, instead.
If and when you are ready to host an event, please feel free to reach out to any of our organizers.
A few housekeeping items:

*VFBB strives to foster a safe and comfortable space and community for all members. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated and is ground for removal from VFBB. This includes hostile, intimidating, and/or unwelcoming behavior.

Whitney. We strive to offer the most fun and scenic outdoor activities available to residents of Orange County.... events that are both in and out of area.

Real Riders! We Ride Everywhere!
La Mirada, CA
Motorcycle riders WANTED !!
Calling all non club motorcycle riders.
We are a small, but friendly group of bikers always looking to expand our group into a larger and bigger group. We try and ride at least once a week or once every two weeks. We usually ride anywhere from 75 - 150 miles round trip in areas that are fun for a ride. Canyon areas, curvy roads, motorcycle roads and trips that try to include more back ways or back roads than highways because of the beautiful scenery on the way. We do use the highways though. However we are not set in our ways of riding and everyone has a say in where we ride.
So ADD your voice and suggest a ride or rides.
Once we schedule and post it up, we are off to have a good time.
All we're looking for are cool riders who are looking to go on rides with us. We do not care what kind of bike you have as long as you can ride. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN ! Harleys, Yamaha's, Hondas, Ninjas, Kawasaki's, Ducati's, cruisers, and sport bikes. Bring them all as we have all different kinds of bikes in our group. The only exception is it has to have a 750cc engine or better. Or be able to travel at a comfortable hwy speed of 75 mph or higher. (NO scooters, mopeds or dirt bikes please) If your a single rider only come on down. If you ride with your wife or girlfriend or boyfriend bring them along. If you ride with a passenger bring them along. We do not discriminate against anyone or on any terms within reason. We just meet and ride and have a great time doing it, simple as that.
We have only three rules that we enforce.
Number one is in order to stay a member of this group, you must ride at least once every 3 months. If you do not ride within a 3 month time period on one of our scheduled rides with another member then we will kindly remove you from our group. Regardless of your status as a rider. We are called Real Riders because we actually ride.
The second rule is we do not allow spamming or soliciting of any kind on our site. If you choose to do this you will be kicked out and banned from joining our group.
And our third rule is pretty simple. You must have a valid California motorcycle endorsed license to ride with us. No permits.
Ride safe and God Bless
Orange County Sierrans
Huntington Beach, CA
Welcome! We are the Orange County Sierrans Section of the National Sierra Club Angeles Chapter. Our schedule includes Hiking, events for Little Hikers, Backpacking, Weekly Conditioning Hikes in 5 Orange County locations, hikes for Conservation, special Newcomer events, BBQ’s, events for 20s30s, winter sports activities, ski trips, bus trips and Adventure Travel. We are open to people of all ages and marital status. Our events are led by qualified leaders who have been through extensive Leadership Training before they receive their leadership rating. The mission of Meetup is to help people self organize into local groups. Orange County Sierra Singles may sponsor local events as well as international and out of state events, so we are a little more than a local organization. We are backed by the 45,000 member Angeles Chapter and the 650,000 member National Sierra Club. The Angeles Chapter boundaries are from Santa Clarita to San Clemente, from the ocean to the foothills. The Angeles Chapter is the largest in the US. The Sierra Club is the oldest and largest environmental grassroots organization in the nation. The Sierra Club was founded in 1892 by the famous naturalist, John Muir. Not only was this guy America’s best known voice from the wilderness and a most effective conservation leader but he was a fearless mountaineer taking enormous risks climbing in the High Sierra, solo travel on crevassed glaciers and exploring Alaska in a little canoe. Look for John Muir on your California quarter. What other organization can beat that? We have a long tradition of outdoor activities, so come join us. You might even want to become a member of the Sierra Club and know you are helping to save our remaining wild places. “Explore, Enjoy and Protect.”

Casual French Speaking
Long Beach, CA
So you want to learn French? Just strengthen your vocab and French accent? Craving a lil' Le Petit Prince reading? Many of you might have learned French before–maybe because you had to in school, or because you thought it would be fun (really?)–but haven’t spoken in years and feel a bit rusty. This is why we have set up French conversation groups bringing together both native and non-native French speakers, to give you an opportunity to practice on a regular basis, with people from similar levels, but also with native who might be able to help you.
All levels of French (and want-to-be-French) speakers are welcome to join us at this informal meetup group to get back in the swing of the French language! Our meetups will happen at a local coffee shop where no-stress conversations will take place. Vocab games, casual conversation, French scrabble and readings from French literature will be some of our highlights. Join us for the occasional French film night and exploring the world of francophone culture and cuisine!
No stress, casual and ALL LEVELS welcome!
