### Route Highlights

🌿 Cookham & the Thames Path – Begin your journey in the charming village of Cookham, a place artist Stanley Spencer loves. We'll follow the Thames Path, where willow trees dip into the water and boats drift lazily by. Look for herons, swans, and kingfishers along the way.

🏛️ Cliveden Estate & Woodlands – Just before reaching Maidenhead, divert into the historic Cliveden Estate, once home to dukes and politicians. Wander through ancient woodlands with breathtaking views over the Thames.

🚣 Boulters Lock & Ray Mill Island – Rejoining the Thames Path, pass Boulters Lock, a peaceful spot where you can watch boats navigating the water. Cross to Ray Mill Island, a hidden riverside oasis with waterfalls, picnic spots, and even a small aviary.
