Skyline Loop Hike (please read the event description)

Hello everyone! Wanted to continue our summer hiking series with a little more difficulty. I hear Mt. Rainier is gorgeous right now :)

This hike is considered to be a “hard” difficulty on AllTrails with approximately 1800 feet of elevation over 5.5ish miles. Breaks will be welcome and I don’t plan on hiking as fast as possible, but please only join if you’re prepared to get a good workout in!

Skyline Loop is very popular and is about a two hour drive from Lacey. Parking fills up quickly so carpooling is ideal.

Plan to meet at the Hawk’s Prairie Park & Ride at 5:30am to leave promptly at 5:45am. If you’d like to drive yourself, that’s totally fine! Please just let me know so we can find you later. Make sure you have a national park pass.

We’ll plan to start hiking at 8am. Right now, the plan is to be back in Lacey at 1:30pm, but that is totally up in the air right now.
