Dear old friends and new friends,

Many of you have showed great interests in our Taichi for Inner Peace Meetup events before. Thank you so much for your continued support! We are now organizing a very special new meetup event for those who are interested in meditation with a fun twist!

In this "Moving Meditation for Inner Peace - Yi Jin Jing" Meetup Event, we are going to introduce you a simple set of meditative exercise from the Yi Jin Jing (The Classic of Transforming Muscle & Tendon). It is a traditional Chinese manual of exercises that is a foundation of Shaolin training. But more than that, it is a traditional Chinese qigong practice, which involves a series of exercises that combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practice to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.

Meeting location: 9 Elgin St, Waterloo
Parking: We have free parking here at 9 Elgin St, Waterloo. But if the parking lot is full, please park at 79 Regina St N, Waterloo. Two parking lots are connected at the back.

What to wear: comfortable clothes and clean flat indoor shoes or socks
No Qigong exercise background is required.

Again, it is a free event for people from all walks of life. Donations are welcome if you support our commitment and continuous works on promoting community members' mental and spiritual wellbeing.
You are welcome to bring your mug and we can have tea, chat, friendly chat afterward.
