**Please read all this information below carefully.** This event is for New members of ths year 2025.

This "Conversations" event is an opportunity to meet new friends and foster somewhat deeper relationships by "Getting To Know Your Island Neighbor” better.

***What to expect:***
**Please bring cash to pay Peggy (no credit cards)** ,as we are guests at her club. The Elks Club will not take your credit cards.
We will meet at the Elks Club Waikiki, sit at a table, enjoy the beautiful views, order brunch/lunch, and get to know each other better.
First we will go around the table to introduce yourselves: your name and location where you live, how long you've been in Hawaii, and something interesting that happened in your life the past week. Then the Host/Facilitator will pose fun generic conversation starters and we'll go around the table for each participant to respond. You will learn as time goes on more about your new friends.
"Conversations" allows for greater sharing around the table in a respectful, kind environment rather just having the opportunity to talk to one or two people sitting next to you during a lunch/or dinner event.This allows participants finding others with common interests and have developed long lasting friendships.

***Important details:***
***1.*** *Please **bring cash to pay Peggy** for your meal, as we are not members and are her guest. The Elks Club will NOT take your credit card.*
***2.*** *Please **park on the street** around the park, it is metered and takes credit cards or quarters **$.50 per hour;** or you can get a permit for the Elks parking lot for $10.00 at the Elks Club desk.*
\*\*3.\*\*We will all **meet inside the front lobby of the Elks Club at 11:00 am** and Peggy will sign us all in and walk to tables together for brunch/lunch. I will also take a group photo.
**4\. Please** respond with you **RSVP to attend** and **if for so reason you** **cannot attend PLEASE change your RSVP to "Not Going".**
**5\. PLEASE be considerate to your host and others and give a waitlist person** **at least 24 hour notice**.

**DON'T BE A NO SHOW**! If you can't attend we will be understanding in case of emergencies or illness,. **Put a note in the comment section when you are not going to attend. This group is for making friends so treat us as a friend.**

**\*This is a restaurant reservation and if you do not show up you will be considered a "NO SHOW" and inconsiderate to others. Please give at least 24 hour notice if you must cancel. Remember more than two "no shows" and you risk being removed from our group.**
