Finer Things - Waterloo Region

Classical music, jazz, art galleries, indie films, live theatre, dance - all the finer things in life!

If you enjoy experiencing arts and cultural events in our community while making social connections, Finer Things is the group for you.

Our calendar includes classical music concerts at a variety of venues, jazz performances at The Jazz Room and area festivals, plays, art exhibitions and films at the Princess Cinemas.
The variety and frequency of events depends on members to both participate in scheduled events and share the finer things they enjoy with others by becoming event organizers.

About the MeetUp subscription and membership fee

Finer Things is one of three groups under the subscription of Gayle K. The subscription renews in October of each year. The other groups are OARS (Outdoor Adventures & Recreation Seekers) and Get Out & Get Social - 50 plus. Each group has a main organizer as follows:

• Finer Things - Cameron B.
• OARS - Karen G.
• Get Out & Get Social - 50 plus - Judy W.

All three groups are private and only members can see our calendars and membership.
OARS and Finer Things are open to adults of all ages and we are offering a two for one annual fee of $5. We will send out a notification to members when the fee is due along with the details on how to pay it.

Get Out & Get Social is restricted to adults over 50 years of age and is run independently by Judy W.
