About us

Finland needs some meetup action in the QA and software testing professional community! We want to resurrect the meetup culture, share knowledge, increase skills and promote the QA -field as a whole. We'll organize meetups with different themes, bring new and exciting ideas into light so the participants can stay on top of the game in their professional lives. We want people to see each other in person as well as remotely, and this meeting of new people is also one of the reasons we started the group. Join the fun and be active!

    Presentations:
    In this session we will have two presentations from:

    • Talk 1 - "When QA Meets AI Everywhere" by Katerina Kairo
      "AI is reshaping how we build and test software—and quality professionals are right at the center of this shift. In this talk, we explore how modern AI—from Narrow to Super AI—changes the testing landscape and introduces new methods like adversarial testing, data‑poisoning checks, and back‑to‑back validation. Grounded in ISTQB concepts and personal learning reflections, the session highlights how testers can stay relevant, skilled, and ethical in a world where AI is everywhere."
    • Talk 2 - "Why as Developer I Am Blind to Bugs" by Tatu Aalto
      "I have long history of testing and I have moved from testing to test automation and now days I am mostly happy to call my self as a developer in testing. During these transitions I have lost some of my testing skills and I have stated make certain type of bugs in my projects. As a developer, I have come blind to some user perspective features. This is story of what mistakes I have done in my projects, why I now understand my developers colleagues better and what I have done to regain my past knowledge as a tester. When I have got know my tester side again better, it has helped me to write better code and make less bugs in my projects. In this story I hope to educate my colleagues why making mistakes is human and what I have done to avoid those mistakes."

    Warmly welcoming you all again,

    Brgds FTMG organizers ;
    Nina, Szilard, Jani and Mikko
