FinOps kickoff for 2021

Let's kick off the new year with FinOps!! 3 great speakers to get the year started, Bhups from YNAP, David Andrews from Just Eat and Ben de Mora from Sky.

Bhups Hirani will be sharing his FinOps experiences of using open-source tools with AWS EKS to run production and non-prod K8's clusters with EC2 Spot in complex, large scale environments. It’s an interesting session showing how you can automate the scheduling of pods/nodes on non-production environments to slash out of hours costs.

Closely following Bhups will be David from Just Eat, he'll be giving you some real life tips and Tricks for optimising your Savings Plan Strategy.

Finally we have Ben from Sky, Ben will be sharing his experiences over the years of transforming cloud spend across multiple cloud providers and not least some of the cultural challenges you might face when making those critical changes required to save the £££££
