Stuart and Trevor are going to talk about their experience building Current from ground up and what it takes to compete in the digital bank space today.

Right after the fireside chat we are going to jump straight into a happy hour and a cocktail creation competition with guest judges. Everyone is welcome to participate in the cocktail competition!

Bios:

Stuart Sopp, CEO of Current
Before founding Current, Stuart was the Head of Trading at a foreign exchange unit at Morgan Stanley, New York. He has also worked at trading desks in London, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong with Citibank and Deutsche Bank. He founded Current to help make the movement and control of money easier with the technology based on a ledger based system and API infrastructure.

Trevor Marshall, CTO of Current
Prior to co-founding Current, Trevor worked at Morgan Stanley with Stuart building algorithmic trading models for foreign exchange markets. At Current, Trevor is focused on building Current’s core banking engine, which drives the cost savings that enables Current to deliver a first-class banking experience without the fees of traditional banks. Trevor is also focused on hiring great engineers to help further that mission!
