Saturday Long Run & Recovery Session (Sauna, cold plunge, beers and more)

Longer morning trail run (2-3 hours) around Thetis Lake Regional Park, followed by the full Fire & Ice experience - sauna, cold plunge, and fire pit hangout (1-2 hours).
Meet at the Thetis Lake main parking lot at 9am. We'll run at a conversational pace on varying terrain, then head back for recovery.
Post-run includes sauna session, cold plunge, and relaxing by the fire. Bring your own beer, cigars, or cannabis if that's your thing. Whatever is part of your recovery strategy. No judgements here. Just relax.
Dogs welcome on the run. Sauna area is fenced.
What to bring for the run:
- Trail shoes recommended
- Water
- Snacks
- Your dog (optional)
What to bring for Fire & Ice:
- Bathing suit
- Two towels
- Sandals/flip-flops
- Bathrobe (optional but recommended)
- Your beverages, cigars, or whatever helps you unwind
Sauna and cold plunge are optional but highly encouraged. Plan for 4-5 hours total (9am-1pm/2pm).
