Goodwin Yee's real estate journey commenced in the late 1980s and 90s, initially sparked by infomercials and further ignited by personal adversity when his family lost their home to foreclosure. This pivotal experience compelled Yee to drop out of college and support his family, while also vowing to master real estate to prevent such situations in the future. His commitment led him to join the Arizona Real Estate Investors Association (AZREIA), marking the beginning of his deep dive into the field.

Yee's pursuit of knowledge didn't stop in Arizona. He expanded his education and network through associations in Philadelphia and Cincinnati, learning from notable figures in the industry. His relocation journey—from California to Shanghai, China, and back to the U.S.—exposed him to diverse markets and strategies, enriching his understanding and experience in real estate. Now based in the San Gabriel Valley, Yee is actively involved in various real estate investor associations, including LAREIA and IEREIC, where he contributes as a cohost.

With a career spanning over four decades, including a significant tenure in IT and as an independent consultant, Yee's expertise in real estate is extensive. His experience includes long-term and short-term rentals, promissory notes, private lending, and deal structuring. Yee's journey from a challenging family situation to becoming a knowledgeable real estate investor showcases his dedication and success in the field.
