Four Falls Walk: Beautiful Waterfall Adventure Hike, Ystradfellte, Brecons

🔸 Date: Saturday 30th April.
🔸 Time: 09:30 start (arrive to allow time for parking). Finish around 1pm.
🔸 Dog Friendly.
🔸 Difficulty: Moderate. It's a rugged trail in parts, and some steep sections so a decent fitness level is needed. Approx. 6 miles / 10km but not flat!
🔸 Cost: FREE!

We're celebrating our 1st year anniversary (!) by returning to where it all began, with the excellent Four Falls Trail in waterfall country, South Wales.

The trail is an approximately 6 mile loop, starting and ending at a carpark and includes four of the best waterfalls in South Wales: Sgwd Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd Y Pannwr and Sgwd Yr Eira.

There are a number of paths around the trail, including some downright treacherous ones, so we’ll have fun picking our own way.

This is a rugged route, and there are some steep areas and lots of steps to reach the final waterfall, Sgwd Yr Eira, which is one you can walk behind! (Note: you might soaked, so waterproofs recommended!)

Rich is leading this walk and will show you any wild foods along the way. This will be an adventurous, fun and energetic walk with like-minded people.

🔹 There's easy parking and usually a coffee hut for a brew before we head off. The carpark is 'Gwaun Hepste - Four Falls Trail Car Park' - if you put this into maps you should get the right one.
🔹 Please dress for the weather, and wear good walking boots.
🔹 Bring any food and drink to keep you going, and we recommend a small rucksack to stow things in.
