About us
First Chords & Friendly Faces is a relaxed meetup for anyone who’s just starting out on guitar or has been playing a little and wants to make music with other people. We keep things simple: a few easy chords, familiar songs, and plenty of time to go at your own pace. You don’t need to read music, sing well, or know more than a chord or two to join in.
Our sessions are about enjoying the process, not performing or getting everything perfect. Bring your guitar if you have one, and we’ll help with the rest, including song sheets, tips, and a friendly group of people who remember what it’s like to be new. Come along to learn, play, ask questions, and meet some good company along the way.
