What we’re about
The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Watford aims to make available to everyone the healing way of life known as ‘Christian Science’. The Church in Watford is one of the worldwide branches of The Mother Church which is in Boston, USA. We are a friendly group and records show that we first held meetings in rented rooms in Watford in 1908. We began to share our experiences of Christian Science healing as early as January 1909 – and have been doing so ever since!

Our guest Christian Science Lecturer Nikki O'Hagan, grew up in South Africa where she gained a love for being outdoors and enjoying the beauty of nature. Although she attended Christian Science Sunday School as a child, as a teen she decided that this would not be the way for her to gain the understanding of life, only to find herself feeling increasingly lost. Then a transformational healing experience brought her back to Christian Science.
