Welcome to the First Crack Coffee Roasters Collective, a group for anyone curious about transforming green beans into their perfect cup of coffee. Whether you have been roasting on your stovetop for a few months or you are just wondering what "first crack" actually means, you will find a friendly bunch of people here who are figuring it out as they go. We are all about learning the basics together, sharing our small-batch successes, and laughing off the occasional smoky kitchen disaster without any pressure to be an expert.
We usually get together to compare notes on different beans, experiment with simple roasting methods, and enjoy some good conversation over a fresh brew. You do not need expensive equipment or a deep knowledge of tasting notes to fit in; just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new. It is a relaxed space to ask questions, trade tips, and meet fellow coffee lovers who enjoy the process as much as the drink. We would love to have you join us for our next session.
