How do you find someone that you know is open to dating without having to approach someone in a bar or meet a stranger from an online dating app? Wouldn't it be better to start by meeting face-to-face with the chance to talk about something beyond the weather?

Note: To be in this group you must be legally single and 50 or older.

This group is for singles 50+ who are actively looking to date. Events will be held in a casual lounge somewhere in Tucson on a Sunday afternoon.

We'll get together and chat about a topic related to dating, no pressure! It is not speed dating so we don't need an equal number of boys and girls. You will have fun even if you don't "match" with someone in the event. The two goals of this group are: connection and fun!

We can have drinks and possibly share an appetizer, but this group does not center on food or fancy restaurants. I would prefer everyone order at least one item, to support the wait staff, in lieu of paying a fee to join the group.

Dress is casual unless otherwise noted.
A minimum of four people required to hold the event.

I suggest you show your interests, and possibly your group list as well, on your profile so we can get to know other members a little better.

Please note that RSVPs open two weeks prior to posted event dates. If something comes up and you cannot attend, move yourself to " Not Going" asap. Sometimes guests are allowed but they must be legally single and 55+ as well.

In case of last minute changes, it's always good to check comments to an event before heading out.

Cancelations must be made, by moving your sign up to Not Going, at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event, by afternoon two days prior.

LIABILITY AGREEMENT: By joining in and attending events with this group you acknowledge that you are a voluntary participant and that you assume all risk/s, known or unknown, including travel, even if caused by organizer or other member negligence. Participation in activities involves inherent risk, including illness, injury, accident or death. I understand that there may be instances where medical treatment may not be immediately available during my participation in an event or activity. I understand that the organizer may secure emergency care on my behalf, based on their own best judgment in an emergency situation, and I do not hold them personally or financially responsible for such care.
I understand that my photo may be taken at an event and the organizer has no control over photography.
I, on behalf of myself, my heirs or legal representatives, hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless the group organizer and other participants from any liability, claims, demands or causes
of action arising out of my participation and/ or my own conduct in this group. I acknowledge that I have carefully read these statements and fully understand this release of liability. I am aware that this is a legally binding agreement, and that by participating, I voluntarily accept and assume all risks.
