This will be a slow-paced hike, as we don't want to be too out of breath as we do our FDQs!
There is a fatmer"s market and a restaurant nearby for after the hike if people are interested.

This is a somewhat rocky but short scenic trail, with pretty views, big smooth/flat rocks with little pools of rainwater (if we're lucky) at the top so you can pop off your boots and soak your toes.

Length: 2.3-miles round trip
Elevation gain: 340’
Bring: water, snack for the break at the top, walking stick, sturdy hiking shoes, hat, binoculars for bird watching

This is a fee area:
If purchasing a weekly pass, we are entering on foot.
Only a couple of us have to purchase a pass (check on this) as we are in a group and we can assume we came together.

Meet and park at the Trailhead:
Loma Alta Trailhead
6578 S Camino Loma Alta (north end of this road) It turns into a dirt road. Small area for parking, but can park along the side. Not much room to turn around in parking area. Car pool if we can.
