About us
First Hanseatic Toastmasters is an English-speaking Toastmasters club in Hamburg dedicated to helping members develop confident communication and strong leadership skills.
We provide a supportive, friendly, and growth-oriented environment where members can practice public speaking, receive constructive feedback, and develop leadership abilities.
### What we do
At our regular club meetings, members and guests can experience a structured and engaging program that typically includes:
• Prepared Speeches – Members deliver speeches from the Toastmasters learning paths
• Impromptu Speaking (Table Topics) – Short, fun speaking exercises that help develop quick thinking and confidence
• Evaluations – Supportive and constructive feedback that helps speakers improve
• Leadership Roles – Opportunities to facilitate parts of the meeting and develop leadership skills
### Guests are always welcome
Our meetings are free to attend for guests, and there is no obligation to speak.
You are welcome to simply observe, or participate if you feel comfortable.
Many members visit several meetings before deciding to join.
