Growth Group Questions based on the Sermon from Sunday, May 25, 2025
1. Can you recall a time when someone’s small action had a big impact on your life, like a ripple effect?
2. Have you ever found yourself in a new or unexpected place (physically or emotionally) that turned out to be meaningful or transformational?
3. In Acts 16:9–15, what role does the Holy Spirit play in guiding Paul and his companions? How does this passage illustrate God's leading?
4. Lydia's response to Paul's message is immediate and wholehearted. What does her story teach us about being open to the movement of the Spirit?
5. How do Paul’s vision and Lydia’s transformation together show the communal nature of God's work in the world?
6. What might it look like in your own life to be “envisioned” by the Spirit? Have you ever felt compelled to act in a way that felt Spirit-led?
7. Emmy’s story highlighted the importance of letting others help us in times of grief or need. Why do you think it's so hard for people to accept help? How might God be working through those offers of support?
8. What does it mean for you to see the world with "holy imagination"? How might that change how you interact with others or perceive your own circumstances?
9. Have you ever acted quickly and confidently in faith, like Paul did, even when the path ahead wasn’t entirely clear? What happened as a result?
10. Where might God be calling you to step out in faith right now—whether in your relationships, service, or spiritual life?
