This week's sermon-based questions:
Getting to Know Me
- When have you felt like you were in a “drought” season in your life—whether spiritually, emotionally, or physically?
What helped you get through it? Who or what did God use during that time? - Have you ever had an experience like the Shared Tables evening—meeting someone unexpected who revealed something about God to you?
What surprised you the most in that encounter?

Into the Bible
3. Elijah first appears in the Bible confronting power and injustice. Why do you think God often uses unexpected or bold individuals in Scripture to initiate change?
How does Elijah’s boldness compare to other prophets or figures in the Bible?
4. In 1 Kings 17, Elijah is cared for by ravens and then by a widow. Why do you think God chose to provide in such limited, unusual ways?
What do these stories reveal about God's character and provision?
5. The widow in the story was a foreigner, like Jezebel, but instead of opposing God, she received a miracle.
What does this tell us about who God chooses to bless and work through in Scripture?

Application
6. Where in your life do you need to ask, "Where will God show up next?"
What would it look like to trust God more fully in that area?
7. Elijah obeyed God step-by-step, not knowing the full plan.
What is one small step of obedience or trust you feel called to take this week?
8. Just like Olga welcomed strangers into her home and shared her faith, how might you be called to practice hospitality or faith-sharing in your own life?
9. The sermon talks about God showing up in unexpected people and places.
Who in your life or community might be someone God is using in ways you hadn’t noticed before?
10. When provision isn’t abundant but just enough—like the flour and oil—how can that strengthen your faith?
How does that challenge the way you normally think about God’s blessings?
