Getting to Know Me

  1. The sermon highlighted how each of us has a story of how Jesus changed our lives. What’s one way you’ve seen God redirect your life or rescue you from a difficult path?
  2. The pastor shared his own story of being found and guided by God at a young age. Who has been an important influence in your spiritual journey?
  3. When you hear about violence or brokenness in the world, how do you typically respond—fear, anger, discouragement, or hope?

  4. In 1 Timothy 1:15, Paul says, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the foremost.” How does Paul’s humility shape the way we view our own sin and God’s mercy?
  5. Paul went from persecutor to evangelist. What does his transformation teach us about the power of the gospel to change lives, even the most unlikely ones?
  6. Paul urged Timothy to persist in teaching truth, even in hard times. What encouragement do you draw from Paul’s example of perseverance in suffering?
