Cute As A Button: BUTTON ART

Details

Coined in 1913, the phrase "cute as a button" described the association of buttons with small, attractive objects. It was implied that buttons, particularly when polished, could be visually appealing! Today, the term is used to describe something extremely attractive, adorable, or charming, especially in a small or delicate way.

So, that is what we are going to do! We'll have everything needed to
create a meaningful and beautiful picture using paint, buttons, glue, and imagination - all designed on a framed 8x10" canvas mat. The possibilities are endless! A field with button flowers, a tree with button leaves, buttons in the shape of a heart... What will you make?

Time: Noon (please be on time).
Cost: $10.00 to cover the cost of supplies, etc.
What to bring:

  • Something to share for the potluck lunch.
  • An apron if you wish.
  • Any special buttons, quotes, tokens, etc. you would like to add to your design.
  • Cash payable on arrival.

Looking forward to seeing you~
