Santa's Workshop! TP Ornaments! Holiday Party! Handmade Gift Exchange!
Details
Hi Crafters!
We've edited our December holiday craft activity to round things out a bit, and added an important element we think you will enjoy ~ This will be a busy and fun-filled event, so please join us and add your RSVP~
For our Santa's Workshop, we will be diving into a fun and creative project making simple but pretty card stock & TP ornaments that can be used to decorate your trees, hang in your windows, add to your gift packages, or string together to make a banner (garland)- all made with... toilet paper rolls!
That's right, so please start saving your empty TP rolls, used-up paper towel rolls, and wrapping paper tubes. We'll have extra supplies of TP rolls and will share printed card stock paper, glitter, glue, string, buttons, etc. Please check out the recently added photos (below) to get a better idea of what we can create.
Next on Santa's list is an open Holiday Gift Mart and Wrapping Station set up so you can do a little convenient shopping for stocking stuffer type items that have been carefully and thoughtfully procured. These wonderful little surprises are of good quality, useful, unusual, beautiful, and are easy on the budget (most are priced between $1. and $2. each). So, make your selections and fill a bag or two. Bring a check - You won't be disappointed.
In addition, we will provide everything you need to wrap and decorate your things; including various sizes of holiday gift bags, pretty ribbons, festive tissue paper, tape, gift tags, etc. When everyone is ready, we'll offer a brief demonstration on upscale wrapping techniques and bow making so you can follow along and wrap your presents in special and appealing ways.
To conclude our Holiday Party, we are planning a Dirty Santa Gift Exchange where you bring a wrapped handmade gift from home. It doesn't need to be fancy or expensive -- just something handmade. Participants have the choice of taking an unopened gift or stealing a coveted gift from someone else.
