Knitting 101

Always wanted to learn how to knit but never knew where to start? This is your sign.

Knitting 101 is a small, hands-on beginner workshop where you will learn everything from scratch in a relaxed, judgment-free afternoon. Your host started knitting in 2024 as a way to step away from screens, so the beginner experience is still very fresh. Expect patience, zero jargon, and good company.

What to Expect
🕓 16:00 - 17:30 | A cozy Saturday afternoon activity

• A walkthrough of different yarns, needle types and the few tools that actually matter
• Learn the long-tail cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch and cast off
• Plenty of time to practice with individual guidance throughout
• Cast on the start of a simple scarf to take home and keep working on
• All materials provided, including yarn and knitting needles, and yours to keep!
• Small group of 6 people max, so everyone gets proper attention
• No experience needed whatsoever
