First Thursday London May - Developing a campaigning mindset

Details
This month sees us back at Camden Town Hall and welcoming Andrew Hadfield, Director and founder of Mavin Communications
With the national election campaign now in full swing, the last thing your business or social enterprise needs is a cheesy link to politics.
This is not what we’re talking about. But there is something to be said for having a campaigning mindset where you organisation’s goal is the campaign.
From May’s First Thursday, you will learn how to
think, live and breathe like a campaigner
build a strategy from a single objective
integrate different channels towards this goal
how to measure success
Andrew is the Director and founder of Mavin Communications, having over twelve years experience working in the public and private sectors.
He set up his company after leading communications teams for seven years at Westminster and Camden Councils. Andrew saw a gap in the market for startup companies and social enterprises wanting support to market themselves as well as continue to provide the public sector with cost effective activity.
A Mavin is a trusted expert who seeks to pass on their knowledge to others. This last part is particularly critical for us, and we genuinely seek to build up a body of work - or in-house expertise - for the organisations we work for.
Andrew is also involved setting up a number of businesses including UBREW - a new type of Brewery on the fashionable Bermondsey beer mile; a music product; as well as a number of businesses crowdfunding
He has also recently working for Gresford Architects, Tree Shepherd, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Wikihouse.
As well as hearing from Andrew, we'll have wonderful banter, helpful information and of course the usual opportunities to meet and share with likeminded folk!
We look forward to seeing you there. Alice & Graham
