What we're about

We change lives and transform communication styles through personal storytelling. We battle divisiveness, loneliness, and stagnation. Our events are based around sharing first time stories.

  • Are you familiar with what it feels like to be misunderstood?
  • What about not being heard or listened to?
  • Do you know what it’s like to feel lonely and isolated?
  • Have you ever struggled to convey your thoughts, feelings, and emotions?
  • Do you sometimes find it difficult to express yourself?
  • Are you challenged with starting and maintaining conversations?
  • Do you find it hard to get to know new people?
  • Are you uncomfortable with opening up and allowing people to get to know you?

First time storytelling is a method for you to express and communicate who you are in a clear, concise, and entertaining way so you are heard, understood, and remembered. We are the sum of our experiences and everything starts with a first time. You can weave a thread through your life using first time stories and easily share who you are with others, connect, and grow closer together. Learn to start conversations, engage an audience, communicate your experiences, and impress the people you meet.

We are on a mission to create the space, environment, and opportunities where people can embrace being open and vulnerable with each other to make heart-to-heart connections by sharing who they are through storytelling.

We want to awaken people to understand how much their experiences, lives, and who they are matter. We will raise awareness that we have so much more in common than what separates us. We are all part of the human experience.

✅ Assist people to learn to communicate who they are
✅ Give people an opportunity to be heard and understood

First Time Stoytelling Networking Event

Online event

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each networking event kicks off with playing the First Time Lightning Round - as a quick ice breaker.

Next, the first breakout session takes place. Attendees are broken up into groups of 5 people or less and each person has 5 minutes to share a first time story based on the prompt provided.

The prompts are provided for each round*. Everyone uses the same prompts. The topics of the story are the same for everyone

Everyone comes back together and is given an opportunity to share something they've learned about someone else.

Second breakout session with different people and a different prompt.
Followed by another opportunity to share what people have learned about each other.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This is truly a unique, fun, and friendly opportunity to meet new people and practice your storytelling and active listening skills.
