Spectrum Women - Autistic Women Support Group
Details
This support group for autistic women provides a safe and inclusive environment for adult women on the spectrum (including autistic-curious and autistic questioning women) to come together, share experiences, and learn from one another. The group's sessions are tailored to promote social skills development, self-awareness, and self-acceptance. Through discussions, activities, and peer support, participants can explore various topics, including employment, parenting, dating, self-care, and relationships, and learn valuable skills and strategies for navigating the challenges of autism as an adult. The program aims to foster a greater understanding of oneself and one's place in the world while promoting the development of vital life skills such as self-advocacy. (If you can not make this group in person, I highly recommend our virtual Interactive Journaling class on Sundays.) There is a suggested donation for this group of $5 through Venmo @fishinatreenola (pay what you can, every contribution is appreciated).
