While we are in a historically low tax environment (yes, you read that correctly), I have found it important to provide guidance on tax-preferred planning. With the national debt constantly climbing, this burden may ultimately lie on the taxpayer, and taxes are likely to increase in the future.

She works with her clients to make sure they will have less of a tax burden through diversification, with a focus on how their assets will be taxed in the future. While you may think of diversification as referring to a portfolio of varying assets like stocks, bonds, real estate, etc., tax diversification is focused on mitigating the risk of overpaying on taxes. This is done by making sure our assets are spread between three different income taxation categories--taxable now, tax deferred, and tax free.
