The ***AUSTIN TRAIL OF LIGHTS ***is our city’s most beloved and longest running holiday event. The annual event in Zilker Park celebrates the unique spirit and people of Austin. Let's walk together while enjoying more than 2 million lights, 96 lighted holiday trees and 70 displays and tunnels. nightly entertainment, Austin’s famous food trucks, and magical holiday activities!
Austin Trail of Lights guests will experience a new layout, thoughtfully designed to encompass new displays, interactive spaces, and talent of all ages on the Zilker stage. The Trail welcomes all to indulge in the new s'mores program, visit the Keep Austin Weird local holiday market, and we can enjoy adult beverages at the expanded Cork & Sleigh in the all new Zilker Square area.
Parking will be challenging but they do offer limited $7 parking passes until they sell out. Consider alternate transportation (biking, uber, scooter etc) and carpooling. This event is FREE on this date!
Plan to be in line at the entrance (there may or may not be any lines-last year there were none) before 7:30. At 7:30 we will meet at the first bar area you encounter after you enter- it's typically on the right past the stage and the VIP bar. There is a small seating area adjacent to the bar with picnic tables. Call or text Laurie if needed 410 984 8624.
Latecomers may find it hard to catch up with us once we get drinks and leave the bar area, so be on time!
