Meet at the Victoria Point Ferry Terminal Masters Avenue 8 45am to take the 9am ferry its only 50 cents each way .Walking around the Island is 6klm have a swim on the way and we’ll have a drink/lunch at the beach Tavern on return.2dollars donations for site fees thanks
We're booking the 5 day's Nakasendo Trail walk with OKU Japan for May 2026 Start day's between 6th and 8th depending on availability. We'll be flying to Osaka then train to Kyoto before we start the walk. Staying in traditional Japanese Inns along the way and walks between the old post towns are between 8 to 18 klm .Taking in the amazing Scenery Forests and Temples etc hopefully having warm Spa's and Fabulous Japanese food along the way 😀. Any interest please put your name on the list. After the walk most people will want to also book a tour of Japan maybe a 8 days tour Starting from Tokyo where on the last day of our walk we'll be catching the Bullet Train there. Also includes the train to start our walk from Kyoto. The Beach walk starts 100klm South of Lisbon to the beautiful Algarve.Its approximately 230klm and takes in some of the most spectacular coastlines of Southern Portugal.Its supposed to be one of the most stunning places in the world and world Famous.I’ll be booking accommodation as I go it’s 11days walking some days around 20 to 25klms a day expect to get plenty of Sand in your Shoes Hostels cost around 25Euros per night Hotels about 60 per night.After the walk will be going to Northern Spain walking around the Muros area its absolutely amazing.If interested Google or contact me if interested in doing the walk in July 2026
Starting walking in the Spanish Basque Country Northern Region of Spain after my walk in Portugal.There’s plenty of options how many sections you’ll be walking.If you’re doing all the way it’s 820 kilometres.The first sections are apparently tough through the Basque Country but after that the trail is pretty ok for all levels of fitness.I’ll roughly walk 25 kilometres a day and if you Start early in the morning you can do most of the way by Lunchtime.Will be an amazing adventure .Anyone interested in doing some or all of it give me a call 0435448588 Santiago is amazing also and it’s a thrill to see all the pilgrims coming into the square after finishing.
