Do you want to do some “hands-on” learning about Fixed Wing UAV’s/Drones?
Let’s start with on-line meetings, then if we get enough people in the Swindon area, I’ll find us somewhere suitable to meet.
You can offer to present something or I will, to get us started? I have run two meetups before, several years ago, and they both started with me designing/building something and other members asking questions, and/or contributing.
This is a huge topic though? So, can I suggest I’ll get us started with a few demonstrations of UAV/Drone related topics?
Having said that, if you have something you want to ask about, or want me to advise you on, message me. But I want this to be knowledge/experience sharing, and “hands-on” let’s see what we can design/build, or share ideas on?
By the way, I don’t plan to use “off the shelf” modules. I pretty much design everything myself. OK, I use discrete components and some specialised I.C’s and Single Board Computers. But for things such as Electronic Speed Control (ESC), Motors (Horizontal/VToL) I design and build, right down to the stator/rotor etc. OK, I buy the magnets “off the shelf” 😊
