Visit/Hike Petrified Forest National Park

Hey everyone,

I'm planning a trip to the Petrified Forest National Park for some hiking and exploring. We'll meet at the Flagstaff Mall parking lot around 8:00 a.m and coordinate carpooling. Since it's about a two-hour drive, we should arrive around 10:00 a.m.

The park has several short, easy trails with cool viewpoints. We can either grab lunch at the restaurant inside the park, have a picnic, or head to La Posada in Winslow afterward.

I've spoken with some park rangers who gave me details on a few good spots. I'll share more info as we get closer to the date.
