I’m excited to host another Sevillanas from Scratch workshop this Sunday, April 5, from 16:00 to 17:30 at Backstage Academy Málaga.

Sevillanas are danced at ferias, festivals, and celebrations throughout Andalusia. It’s a fun, elegant, and highly social dance, traditionally performed in pairs.

This workshop is designed to introduce you to the basics of sevillanas in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Sevillanas have a fixed structure, with some room for variation, but the core steps remain the same.

During the workshop, we’ll focus on the fundamental steps, timing, and overall structure, adapting to the group’s pace and dynamics.
