Castanets Classes with Maika at El Mundo Flamenco

Our Sunday castanets classes continue! Join Maika in the welcoming surroundings of El Mundo Flamenco, near Bond Street station, for three mornings of rhythm, music and learning together.

Whether you joined the previous course or are trying castanets for the first time, you are welcome. We will practise holding and playing the castanets, finger technique, coordination and rhythmic patterns, building clarity and confidence step by step.

These friendly classes offer a chance to discover this beautiful instrument and enjoy making music in a supportive atmosphere.

What to bring
Bring your castanets if you have a pair. If you don’t have any yet, Maika has some available to borrow during the class.
