Flask as a Backbone

Hosted by Flask-NYC

Public group

Flask isn’t just Flask, there’s some Python in the background.. In this talk, we’ll discuss using Flask as the backbone for MindSet.io, a project allowing developers to share and execute code remotely. We’ll review how Python and Flask are used to integrate libraries (e.g. RQ, RQ-Scheduler, WebSockets) and services (Redis, Docker) and execute code written in various languages (yep, not just python!). We’ll also cover the challenges and solutions in using PY3 and its concurrency library asyncio.
