Documentary
An Open Door celebrates Dr. Temple Grandin's remarkable life and legacy through extensive interviews with Dr. Grandin, her colleagues, and livestock industry professionals. The film's themes include autism, the unique value and educational needs of neurodivergent people, and Dr. Grandin's ground-breaking research into animal behavior and humane livestock treatment.
About Temple Grandin
A professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University (CSU), Dr. Grandin is a prominent author and speaker on both autism and animal behavior. Her significant work on the humane treatment of livestock for slaughter has led to less stress, panic, and injury in animals.
