SQUACK by Julie Jensen

The Flip Through Book Club was thrilled to discover Julie Jensen's 2021 book about feedback specifically for UX Designers, Researchers, and UX Writers.

SQUACK is the title of Julie's book, but also an acronym for her formula for giving effective feedback. Amazon says that with this book, "you’ll find a no-nonsense, down-to-earth, common sense guide. A guide paired with real-world examples collected from Julie’s broad experience managing UX teams at Microsoft, Amazon, Capital One, and USAA as well as creating digital experiences at Los Alamos National Laboratory." Julie says "The SQUACK feedback formula enables you, the feedback recipient to understand and prioritize what you hear."

Julie is broadly admired as a UX leader and we think this book will lead to fantastic discussions.
