Day: Sunday
Show up at 8:40am,
Game starts at 9am sharp - you cannot join once we start playing
2 x 45-minute halves, 5-minute halftime
Game ends around 10:40am
Wear: gloves, winter hat, long pants, turf shoes, red/black sweatshirt (or wear provided pinnies)

The outdoor soccer season is starting with Sunday morning games, and will move to twice a week in the evening once lights get turned back on. I am asking for help with the cost of running the group $30/player for the season (March-December, about 2 games/week) rather than charge $3 per player per game like other groups to cover expenses like meetup fees, goal replacement, balls, pinnies washing, replacement parts and more. (Cost is about $800-$900 a year).

Please read below as a refresh for the rules, laws, suggestions, and dictatorships of this group.

Group Rules

• 40-50 players needed to pitch in - basically all of the "regulars"
• New players get 3 free games - after that if you like the group and you want to continue playing we will ask for you to pay membership dues
• End of March- April onwards: 10 open spots to first rsvp than next 10 spots are priority to paid members, cap at 20 players/game
• We do have a customizable pinnie that will have your name and number on it, it cost $25 and we collect a few players at the time and order it. If you enjoy the group we DO ask you to buy and use it. Its yours to keep.
• Show up on time - late players won't be allowed to join.
• Turf shoes, but if you have cleats just don't step on too many players, you are just hurting others.
• No slide tackles, pushing, coaching, or yelling
• Respect the call, respect the place, respect teammates
• We will introduce new players, setup and split teams based on position playing and get going, really uneven teams, we will re shuffle teams.
• Please ONLY rsvp if you know you can show up. don't take someone spot by canceling at the last minute.
• Respect the call, by me, by the opposite team's players, by your teams members. fouls, hand ball, outs, corner and so on. It's not worth the 5 minutes arguing about it.
• No coaching or yelling or calling your teammates anything but a mother fucker when they fuck up extremely and / or obvious a bad play. Let's work together to improve, to get better, to learn our weaknesses and learn to improve in your current position and improve if you want to try a new position.
• PASS THE MOTHER FUCKING BALL, none of us is Messi, open up next to the player and give him an opportunity to make an easy pass and continue for the run. Sometimes the easiest pass is passing backwards to the mid or defense and changing the sides of the possession.

Game Rules:

1. Fouls are called by the 2 players hitting each other ONLY, no arguments, he called it, just respect it and move on.
2. IF A PLAYER is laying on the grass with obvious pain, especially if the ball is still in that area, regardless if a foul was called or not, we will call to STOP, safety first.
   IF A PLAYER gets hit in the face from the ball, STOP, safety first, Check on them and play from the back, start the play again.
3. Last person goalie, no hands, don't stay at goal - tired players, play defense and switch back
4. We play offsides, so don't stand by the goal and wait for the ball to come to you.
5. Official goal kicks. No passing from the back for a quick play - at the same time, open and move around so we can have a quick pass in.
6. Hand throw in - if it is illegal throw 1 more chance and than just ask for someone else to throw it in.
7. Be a good sportsman, if the ball is by you, go get it even if it is the other teams. Call your own mistakes, handball, outs, corners, fouls and so on.
8. If you shoot for the hell of it and it is completely off the goal, YOU KICK YOU CHASE.
9. Shooting to the goal only passed the half line, but make it nice, lets not start playing half court ping pong shots to score.
