**Last Minute**Kayaking at Simpson Lake in Valley Park

A nice easy little lake. About 2 miles for up and back on the creek. Another mile around the lake, if it's not too windy. They just dropped the rain from the forecast on Sunday. Now temps in 70's and 4-5 mph wind, Check back here before you head out, if weather threatens.
This is a joint meetup with Tails on the Trails. We paddle with our dogs, and most of us have high end inflatables. We aren't trying to burn up the water, we paddle at a leisurely pace. Since it's a last minute thing, we won't have a big group.
B.Y.O.BOAT. There are rentals here, but they are at the other end of the lake and we do not coordinate with them. I'm not sure if they even open at 10:00, it used to be at 11:00.
Meet at the boat ramp, NOT the beach/rental area. Meetup pointer is in the right spot.
We launch at 10:00, with or without you. Arrive a little early and be ready to go.
