Paddle Sparkleberry Swamp

Join us for a day paddling in Sparkleberry Swamp. Further details will be posted ASAP. (Meeting times, location, etc). Plan to meet in the morning and to be on the home mid afternoon.

Sparkleberry Swamp is located in the upper Lake Marion area and is a part of the Upper Santee Swamp system. Sparkleberry shares the characteristics of cypress-tupelo swamps commonly found in this area of the Carolinas along with a unique abundance of Sparkleberry trees for which the area is named. The high waters and charming scenery draw avid paddlers and explorers to this location!
