A food tasting for freeze-dried backpacking food, Breakfast, Dinner, and dessert. Ever stand at the camping store and wonder which one taste the best? I do!
This is a great way to find out what you like before bringing it on the trail and NOT liking it. YES, that happened to me;(
We will taste some of the top picks from other campers, and we can all pick what we like and rate them: Backpackers' Pantry, Good to Go, Mountain House, Mary Jane's Farm, Peak, etc...
CASH only: $15.00 This is a paid event. Please bring some money for this event to help cover some of the cost of the food.
BRING: Bring a fork, a napkin, and a drink, and let's dig in! We will supply the dishes and hot water.
HIKE: We'll walk the Celery Fields to work it all off!
