FULL STRAWBERRY MOON Hike 4 miles - RAYMOND ROAD- Celery Fields

Full strawberry Moon hike: 4 miles

DO NOT GO TO THE CELERY FIELD PARKING LOT.
We will park off Raymond Road at the Bird Boardwalk.- Please click on the map to find the location where you can park.
Directions: From the Celery Field Parking lot, take a left on Palmer and turn right on Raymond Road (South). Go around the curves until you see the Boardwalk on the right.

On the hike, you will be given the location of the full moon rising observation. You must be on the hike to go.

This is going to be an incredible full moon hike. In the evening, while the birds are going to roost and the temperature is cooling down, we will have many birds! During the last full flower (May) moon, we had Crested Caracara, Hawk, Black-necked Stilt, Whistling Ducks, Herons, and Roseate Spoonbills, and my favorite is the Purple Gallinule.

THE HIKE: 4 miles - We will walk around the Celery Fields & hill, then loop back.
BRING: CHAIR, BUG SPRAY, Water, a hat, and if you want, bring a snack and a drink.
LOCATION: The exact moonrise watching location is private and will only be sent to the group (RSVP).
GUEST: If you want to bring a guest, please have them join the group and RSVP on the meetup group so they can join us.

I scouted out the perfect location to watch the moonrise—no light noise and no road noise!!! It’s a secret. I will give the exact location when we are closer to the date.
So please bring a chair (after the hike) or a blanket to sit with us and watch this beautiful full moon rise together.
