# 🌿 Hike at Eagle Point, Three Lakes, and Chet Lewis Loop (AGES 20-40) - Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park

# Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center - 10941 Burnt Store Rd, Punta Gorda, FL 33955

Join us for a beautiful morning exploring the trails at Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park! We’ll be hiking the Eagle Point, Three Lakes, and Chet Lewis Loop, a 3.6-mile trail that winds through some of the park’s most scenic areas. Note there May be a fee for entry into the state park.

This trail is mostly flat and rated easy to moderate, making it a great option for most fitness levels. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a mix of open stretches and partially shaded areas beneath oak and pine canopies. The path takes us past wetlands, pine flatwoods, and glimpses of wildlife, so keep an eye out for birds, deer, and other Florida natives. there is a potential of wet hiking conditions.
What to bring:

  • Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
  • Water (at least 1–2 liters)
  • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
  • Bug spray recommended

  • Terrain: Flat, some sandy and grassy sections
  • Shade: Partial shade with some sunny stretches
  • Estimated time: 1.5–2 hours at a steady pace
