Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park is a premier wildlife sanctuary, home to one of the world's largest and deepest freshwater springs. Visitors can take a guided boat tour to spot manatees, alligators, and a wide variety of birds. You can also swim in the spring's invigorating 70-degree water from a two-story diving platform. The park offers over 9 miles of hiking trails and a historic lodge. A fee is required for entry and boat tours.

Hammock Spur Loop 1.5 Miles
This trail connects to the Wakulla Hotel and the Cherokee Sink trail.

Cherokee Sinks Trail - Wakula Springs 2.2 miles
Travel along this flat, gravel road to the Cherokee sinkhole site at the end of the trail. Sink at the end of the trail, which provides a paradise to the local fauna and flora in the area. There is a small fee due at an "honor box" at the parking area.
