FCCP PhotoWalk at Lake Seminole Park, Seminole, FL

Lake Seminole Park covers more than 250 acres and is centrally located to several communities, including St. Petersburg, Seminole, Largo, and Pinellas Park. Lake Seminole Park is a designated wildlife habitat and sanctuary. Raccoons, alligators, various waterfowl, hawks, bald eagles, black vultures, tortoises/turtles, snakes, etc. reside in this park, and provide many pleasant hours for nature enthusiasts and families.

There is a lot of wildlife in the area including Blue Herons, Yellow Crowned Night Heron, Black Crowned Night Heron and many others. We can usually find a Night Heron nest or two and there are also several pairs of owls that call the park home.
