FCCP Night Time & Blue Hour PhotoWalk in St. Petersburg

Tonight we'll be photographing the great night lights in downtown St. Petersburg. We'll walk along Beach Dr. and Central Ave., the hub for businesses and nightlife in St. Pete. Along the way we can photograph several museums, Janus Landing and several lighted fountains.

Please park in the first parking lot, Dolphin Lot, on the left (north side of 2nd Ave) as you head out 2nd Ave towards the Pier. These are pay lots, so bring change, small bills or a credit card. They enforce the meters, so don't forget to pay.

It is beneficial if you bring a sturdy tripod and small flashlight. Any lens will do, however we recommend a wide angle and telephoto to get the best results. A cable release can help as well, but the camera self-timer can be used also.

After the PhotoWalk we'll head to a local restaurant and share some of our shots.

There will be lots of learning and laughter. Jeff Donald will teach each session and he's a certified Photographic Counselor by PMA. He taught photography for 4 years at Montana State University and started the Digital Photography program at the Dunedin Fine Art Center in 2002. Jeff worked for Apple Computer, Ritz Camera Center, and several regional camera retail chains and has worked with 1000's of customers and students during that time.
