Whether printing photographs or keeping them on the internet, accurate colors are important. Color Management will help ensure your colors stay true in any situation.

This is a 2 part class.

In this class, Jeff will introduce us to Color Management and discuss some of the following:
- What is Color Management?
- Why do you need good color management
- The end goal with color management
- Terminology of Color Management ie. RGB & CMYK
- Color space and color gamut
- Color Profiles
- How to eliminate color inconsistencies

In the second class, Jeff will introduce us to editing our photos using color management.
- Color Management for Photographers and Editing
- Jpeg vs Raw
- Color accuracy ie. calibration
- Color profiles
- How to check your image for color issues after editing
- How to choose the right format
- Environment for reviewing and editing you photos

Late comers are always welcome and stay as long as your schedule permits. Please don't feel obligated to stay the whole two hours. We know your Saturday hours are valuable.

There will be lots of learning and laughter. Jeff Donald will teach each session and he's a certified Photographic Counselor by PMA. He taught photography for 4 years at Montana State University and started the Digital Photography program at the Dunedin Fine Art Center in 2002. Jeff worked for Apple Computer, Ritz Camera Center, and several regional camera retail chains and has worked with 1000's of customers and students during that time. Experienced members will be on hand to share tips & tricks and more.
