Intro to Star Trails Photography Workshop: 3/3 – Post-Processing Star Trails

Session Three will be a hands-on post processing workshop. We will go through techniques editing in Lightroom as well as stacking the star trails in a stacking program. Then we will finish by blending in the light painted images in Photoshop.

I will be editing my captures in real time and projecting them on the screen. You can come watch or bring your laptop and follow along. For everyone on the field trip, you can process your captures at this time. For everyone else, I will provide you with files so you can follow along.

If you want to edit along with me, you will need to bring a laptop with the following software installed and ready to use.

· Lightroom Classic

· Photoshop

· StarStax (for windows and mac)

NOTE: You don’t want to be late for this one. We have much to cover and if you miss the beginning it will be difficult to catch up. If you need photos to edit, come early to get the files loaded to your hard drive.
