FCCP Sixth Annual Thanksgiving PhotoWalk - Hillsborough River State Park

Details
Yes, that's right, the sixth year for doing the Rapids Trail. Tired of the relatives, football games and leftovers? Grab your camera and head out with FCCP while we explore the Rapid Trail in Hillsborough River State Park.
Opened in 1938 as one of Florida´s first state parks, this park is divided by the swiftly flowing Hillsborough River. Many trails offer photographers the opportunity to experience the astounding natural beauty of Hillsborough River State Park first hand. A popular trail is the Rapids Nature Trail. It meanders through oak hammocks to the edge of the Hillsborough River at the point where an outcropping of limestone rocks has created rapids. This area is a popular spot for photographers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Those who want to car pool should meet in the parking lot of Clearwater Mall at the Target parking lot at 8:30 AM. Otherwise we will all meet in Parking area 2 of the State Park, servicing the River Rapids trailhead. Park brochure with map:
